Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention

Developed by Dr Lam and his medical team, this 16 hours evidence based program utilizes Sun style Tai Chi to help improve balance, mobility, mindful movement and relaxation. It includes warm up exercises, six basic and six advanced movements, and a cooldown. The entire program is suitable for people of all ages and abilities with or without arthritis and concerned about balance. Regular practice of tai chi leads to integration of mind and body and therefore to enhanced moment to moment awareness.

Duration: 1 hour weekly sessions for 16 weeks / 2 hour weekly sessions for 8 weeks
