My art world

The object isn’t to make art, it’s to be in that wonderful state which makes art inevitable,  Robert Henri

I feel free, limitless, and light when I reimagine the world with my colors. I feel grounded when I embrace creativity to make this freedom real and enjoyable. Oftentimes, it is just the most simple moment, encounter, experience, or the memory of places and people I left behind that sparks this process, so the constant tension between reality and abstraction that runs through it results in a sort of realistic “abstractism.” This is also reflected in the mixed media approach that I use in most of my projects: in fact, the less restricting the medium, the more meanings, nuances, and imageries the viewer can infer from the painting.
